Bud Fawcett | Snowboard Photographer

Bud-FawcettWhen some future historian sits down to write the definitive illustrated account of snowboarding, the first few chapters will be dominated by the work of Californian lensman Bud Fawcett. Hired as a skate photographer by Tom Sims in 1979, he helped launch the careers of Terry Kidwell and the first freestylers, documenting their early quarterpipe sessions and submitting the shots to the world’s first snowboarding magazine, Absolutely Radical. Over the course of his long career he has built up an unparalleled library of classic slides, which I am stoked to be able to share with the world.
